Jamie Carragher and everybody at the 23 Foundation would like to congratulate Liverpool FC on reaching the final of the 2016 Capital One League Cup.
We admit it wasn’t a vintage performance, and I think both the Stoke and Liverpool fans were on the edge of their seats during the penalties, but a couple of saves from Mignolet was the difference at the end of the day!
Congratulations LFC as another trip to Wembley beckons for our incredible club on the 28th of February.
Now all we need to see if we will be facing Everton or Manchester City in the final!
Well done the Red Men ….. #YNWA

Tonight as Liverpool face Stoke in the 2nd leg of the League Cup a special flag will make its debut on the Anfield Kop.
The flag has been produced in tribute to Owen McVeigh, an 11 year old LFC fan who tragically passed away recently after a battle with Leukaemia.
Huge LFC fans, Owen and his Dad supported the Reds home and away, having attended all home games at Anfield since the age of 5.
The flag has been created by ‘Friends of the 23 Foundation’, the Spion Kop 1906 after talking to Owens father Mark.
Here at the 23 Foundation, we think the flag is a truly special tribute to a truly special young man and we look forward to seeing the flag flying high in the Kop this evening.
Our thoughts are with the McVeigh family at this time.
Rest In Peace Owen – You’ll Never Walk Alone.
