The Fields Of Anfield Road (FOAR) Facebook Group have released the below statement confirming their delight in partnering up with the 23 Foundation.
As detailed in our previous news story, the 23 Foundation are looking forward to an enjoyable and fruitful working relationships with the FOAR.
Here is the statement released by the FOAR today ……
“The fields of Anfield Road Facebook page, (now also on Twitter and Instagram), are absolutely delighted to be partnering up with The 23 Foundation.
It’s an honour to be associated with a charity that do so much incredible work for the young people of Liverpool and beyond.
FOAR is a dedicated Liverpool fan page, and with over 20,000 members, we hope to be able to make more people aware of the great work “The 23 Foundation” do, as well as helping out in anyway that we can. In promoting memorabillia, and other merchandise, from the website on our page.
Our entire admin team, Sean Spillane, Áisling Dooley Kelly, Sinead Dunleavy, Karen McKay, Simon Merrett, Tony George Marham, Gareth O’Connor, Robert Phillips, Val Yates, Imran Goolamallee, Suzanne Cray, Mark Allcock, Owen Michael Kavanagh, Ken Allen, Peter Stares, Keith Hansard and myself have worked tirelessly to get the page to a level we are proud of.
Working with “The 23 Foundation” is another step in the right direction and a huge one for us.
We would like to thank Tony Bowden for all of his hard work in setting up connection and liaising between the two groups.
Reading the description of the charity really helped us to make this decision. The values that you hold on working as a team mirror our own. Everything we do we do as a group admin, and a mass of amazing members.
We look forward to an exciting partnership moving forward, and hope to be able to help in any events or promotion that we can do”
Chris Stridgen, Admin at FOAR
The 23 Foundation are delighted to announce that we have agreed to work alongside the ‘Fields Of Anfield Road’ Facebook Group (FOAR) to help promote the charity and share news about ‘everything Liverpool FC’ both here on this website, and on Facebook too.
The administrators that manage the FOAR group are professional, knowledgable, passionate and lovely too. With 20,500+ great LFC supporting members within the group its a great place to interact with other Liverpool fans, both from the UK and across the World.
The group have great expectations about how members should behave, with rude and abusive behaviour, product selling and advertising and ticket selling above face value not being condoned in any manner. The group is all about building LFC relationships, information, news, banter and everything else you’d expect from a quality group of this nature.
The 23 Foundation are delighted to be working alongside FOAR and we have started discussions about how we can strengthen the relationship to benefit both organisations. At this time we’d also like to thank Chris Stridgen & Simon Merrett for making the discussions or a partnership become a reality, and to Sean Spillane, the founder of this great group, who still works hard as a group admin today …. a great achievement Sean!
We look forward to working with FOAR and are excited for the future and what this amazing partnership will bring!

And finally ….. if you’re an LFC fan, on Facebook, and not yet a member of the Fields Of Anfield Road group we recommend you join … its fantastic!
Even though the result in Basel went against us, Basel and its people looked after the Liverpool fans very well.
Agreed, the Stadium should have had more Reds in it, but we can only blame UEFA for that ….!!!
Thank you Basel for looking after the LFC fans so well …. especially this Motley Crew here in Basel representing the 23 Foundation!
