Important Notice

On 1st July 2021, the EU is removing the VAT exemption of €22 on goods imported to the EU. This will mean that all goods, irrespective of value, will be subject to VAT in all EU countries.

The Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) is being introduced by the EU, to enable the declaration and payment of VAT in one EU state for distance sales of imported goods – with a value up to €150. It is relevant for items sold by businesses directly or on marketplaces to consumers and incurs no unexpected costs for the recipients.
