Demi’s visit to Anfield

Demi’s visit to Anfield

Dear all

We were delighted to meet with young Demi Butler pictured here (next to mum Tracy) with her younger sister Ellie and dad Darren. Demi has recently undertaken intense chemotherapy for her rare form of leukaemia.
Demi required a bone marrow transplant and her little sister Ellie being a match was the one to save Demi’s life. The family from Ellesmere Port were invited along by the charity to watch their beloved reds beat Everton 3:1 at Anfield on Saturday.

Please join us in wishing Demi all the very best with her treatment and we hope to see them all back again soon at Anfield.

Remembering Stephen Carragher

Remembering Stephen Carragher

Dear all

Jamie Carragher attended his cousin’s funeral recently. Stephen (52) passed away after a long battle with Cancer and leaves behind a lovely Wife, Deb, 6 Children, Kay, Sam, Ben, Scott, Libby and Tess and 2 Grandchildren Jacob and Penny (pictured).

Our thoughts are with Deb, the children and the Carragher family at this sad time.

Chloe Forrester is bestfriends with Libby and has put together a crowdfunding page to help raise money for the family to get away for a night or two as a family, once things have settled down. So far she has raised £151 of a £500 target. Can you please help Chloe to reach here target, all donations are greatly appreciated.

Kirby Foss & Dad Chris

Kirby Foss & Dad Chris

Dear all

It was great to meet with Chris Foss and his son Kirby from Virginia USA. They came to see Liverpool beat Burnley at Anfield and it was their first visit courtesy of the 23 Foundation and our good friend Brian McLaughlin from Carraghers in New York.

It’s a pity that they could not have witnessed a better game, but at least we got the 3 points.
