The 23 Foundation would like to thank Colin Murray on behalf of football fans everywhere for taking the decision to quit his presenting job at Talk Sport. Quitting a job is never easy, and to do it over a principle is huge decision to take.
Colin has taken this decision based on the affiliation the new owners of Talk Sport have with an unnamed newspaper that we wouldn’t care to mention on a respectable website such as this one.
I am sure the families of the 96, Liverpool fans, the people of Liverpool and Football Fans across the world will all appreciate how big a gesture this is and what you have given up, so thank you Colin.

If you are a Liverpool fan will you ever forget the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul?
The game was astonishing with Liverpool being 3-0 down at half-time, to pull the game back to 3-3 in the 2nd half and then they went on and win on penalties!

Words are hard to find to express the passion and dedication Carra offered to Liverpool FC.
Now with his playing career done and dusted, other than for a few legends games, he is contributing with the same passion and gusto in so many other areas of his life. Looking after his family, working with his 23 Foundation charity, working with his football academies and with his TV work too.
To all of us here at the 23 Foundation Carra is a legend, like he is to so many millions of LFC fans around the World.

Meet 10 week old Joshua Schofield, from Knaresborough in North Yorkshire.
Joshua’s dad is Paul Schofield, a great supporter and friend of the 23 Foundation.
Its great to see Joshua wearing Liverpool gear already and we are sure it won’t be long until he makes his first visit to Anfield with his proud dad.

Aisling Kelly is a proud Liverpool fan who resides across the water in the beautiful city of Dublin. Aisling is an admin of the amazing Fields Of Anfield Road (FOAR) Facebook Page, helping to keep the 21,000 members in check!
When we asked the FOAR members to submit guest blogs we railroaded Aisling into submitting one and to her credit she did …. so “Thank You” Aisling & here it is!
“Jamie Carragher – Through My Eyes”
A well loved defender who retired from the game in 2013 after 737 games, 195 premier league clean sheets and 16 years of loyal service for the Reds. Winning two FA cups, three League Cups, a UEFA cup, two UEFA super cups and not forgetting the ‘piece de resistance’ ole big ears in 2005!!
Jamie scored 5 goals for Liverpool and Seven own goals!! Being a bluenose he even netted a goal for them at his own testimonial. Was he fulfilling his boyhood dream ! Thankfully he never did this during one of the competitive Derby games !
Now for the 23 Carra Gold, the comedy, the guy we love as much off the pitch as we did on it…Carra the pundit. He is refreshing, hilarious but most of all honest and best of all he still tries to get one up on Neville, we all love this and watch with eagerness for the opportunity. One of my all time favourite quotes has to be “no one wants to grow up and be a Gary Neville”.
Don’t ever stop being you JC23, forever embedded in hearts of Lfc fans for many decades.
